Gust

In sculptor Kauko Räsänen’s work, a nude woman runs across the lawn as though she were the wind itself. The sculpture, made of polished bronze, has a realistic visual language. At the same time, the figure’s rigid posture and expressionless face suggest a supernatural presence, far removed from a purely material and physical expression.
